Throughout the Bible, we encounter individuals who have their faith tested and who suffer greatly. I have learned That being a Christian requires an immense amount of faith. Often frustrations and challenges arise, and we are left wondering where God is. Thousands of years ago, a man found
himself in a struggle. God had chosen Abraham for
great things. However, the man who became the Father of Nations had to learn to take the smallest steps of faith before he could complete what God had chosen for him to do.

Reading the stories of the prophets, disciples, saints, and especially Jesus, we learn how each one suffered and paid the ultimate price for their faith. Why should we be different? We are never promised an easy life, but we are promised eternal life with Our Heavenly Father if we have faith and love God and others(everyone)!

Ohhhhhh, to have the faith like Abraham! When I think of all God has been to me, all He has provided for me, and the times he has protected me, I feel a sadness overwhelm me because I have not been steadfast in my faith. Heavenly Father, forgive me for my lapses of faith. You are truly a loving Father. Thank You for a life filled with Your Love, Forgiveness, Mercy, and Grace! Help us to always look to You for guidance and to have faith in You.
