“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
Genesis 1:1 NKJV
“He was in the beginning with God.”
John 1:2 NKJV
“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.””
Genesis 1:27-28 NKJV
“And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so. Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
Genesis 1:29-31 NKJV
The World was without sin until Eve ate the fruit from The Forbidden Tree and gave Adam the fruit which he ate. From that point on Man was broken. God creates only Good, and the Hebrew word for Good is the same as the Hebrew word for beautiful. Therefore, when God declared that all HE created was good, HE was also saying everything was beautiful. When HE escorted Adam and Eve from Eden into the wilderness, HE introduced suffering into the equation. Man was created for love, and now suffering became a part of the love relationship.
God always provides a way to return to HIM. We behold him as our Heavenly Father; and when we seek forgiveness, we are wanting to Be Held in his loving arms of forgiveness. HE suffered greatly when he sent His Beloved Son to die for Man’s Sins. We look upon the scarred face of Our Savior as his nail pierced body hung on that old rugged cross, and we witness a beautiful sacrifice of true love.
All the suffering each of us endures can never compare to the suffering of an unblemished life sacrificed for the sins of humanity. Praying for forgiveness brings us closer to Our Heavenly Father. Praying for others shows our love for them. Please join me in praying for the suffering and burdened in our world.
